I work intuitively and approach the page without a preconceived idea of where the drawing will end up. Often the drawing surprises me as it reveals itself. It is a constantly developing visual language. I am not concerned with telling the viewer a specific story but would rather let the image be open enough so that the narrative is in flux.
> What materials do you most like to work with?
I love the texture of charcoal on paper.
> What talent other than your own would you like to possess?
I would love to have the mad skills to build a beautiful sea worthy boat.
